We connect Gustie students with local children to enrich both partners' lives. Gusties serve as important and meaningful role models and mentors to the children.
Partner pairs meet weekly for activities that combine fun with learning. You’ll help with homework, play outdoor games, and make creative projects with your Little Partner. These relationships can extend beyond the academic year, and even your time at Gustavus, creating lasting bonds. We organize group activities and special events that bring all Partner pairs together.
There are weekly meetings with your Little Partner plus monthly activities. This is a year-long commitment that requires consistency and reliability.
You will complete an application and background check each year and attend orientation and training sessions. Note: There are limited spots available.
