African and African American Experiences

We offer a chance to learn about African heritage, current issues affecting African and African American communities, and the rich cultural traditions that connect people of African descent around the world.

Activities and Events

We host cultural celebrations, educational programs, and community events that highlight African heritage and the experiences of the African diaspora. Our activities include Black History Month events, cultural festivals, workshops about African and African American history and contemporary issues, guest speakers, and social events that bring students together and help educate the campus.
