How Do I Assess My Course?
Course-level assessment is the foundation for assessment at Gustavus. Faculty use both formative and summative course-level assessment to inform their pedagogy and to give students feedback on their learning. Programs and departments use data from course-level assessment to determine what, if any, changes they need to make.
This page contains information about:
- Integrating formative and summative assessment into your course.
- Developing course-level student learning outcomes.
- Assessing Challenge Curriculum and Three Crowns courses.
If you would like assistance with course-level assessment, please contact Sarah Ruble (sruble), the Faculty Director of Assessment.
Integrating Formative and Summative Assessment.
If you want some ideas or suggestions about classroom assessment across multiple modalities, you can watch an abbreviated version of a Camp Kendall workshop I gave this spring.
