The Eastern European Club is designed for anyone who participates in the Russian & Eastern European Studies curriculum, anyone with an interest in the program, or enthusiasts who want to expand their knowledge of Eastern Europe in general, such as culture, music, film, food. This club is open for anyone to join, with no prior knowledge of the Russian language required (but you are always welcome to try and use the phrases you may know, or even learn a few to use!). We celebrate various holiday and gather regularly for traditional Tea and to talk things Slavic. With tea poured from the traditional samovar as a beautiful piece to complement the event, it's a great time to catch up with friends in the club or even relax after a hard day of classes. If interested, feel free to contact either annaliserivas [at] gustavus.edu (Professor Annalise Rivas)
