Special Applications Open (ILS House, Crossroads, Swedish House) - see individual applications/information here. Off-campus Applications Open (in your housing portal, housing.gac.edu, for those eligible to apply), see list of qualifiers and more information about the off-campus housing policies here. Information will be emailed out to students as forms and processes become available in the Housing Portal: housing.gac.edu |

January 30, 2023 |
Deadline: Housing Accommodation Requests due. Those requesting any type of housing accommodation (single room, air conditioner, ESA, etc) must submit a request form and the documentation paperwork linked via the housing accommodation page. All accommodation requests must be renewed each year with an updated request and updated documentation. |

February 24, 2023 Notifications for special applications: |
Crossroads - Those selected for this community will receive instructions for roommate matching and room selection for International Center that will occur in March. Those not selected can re-group for other general selections. ILS Houses - Those selected will receive confirmation of their acceptance and housing placement. Those not selected can re-group for other general selections. |

Deadline: Housing agreement and specific housing type applications (4-person, 3-person, double) should be submitted in your housing portal. |

Make your plan! |
Review all the housing options for your roommate groups (4, 3, or 2 person-units) and discuss a first choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice with your roommate(s). Be realistic in your choices; four-person apartments will be selected by rising Seniors, those who will be Sophomores and Juniors next year should research your options for Doubles. March 19, 2023 Must be completed in advance of your specific room-selection or you will not be able to select a room! |
Deadline: Roommate Pairs/Groups Finalized! Complete the roommate matching process in the Housing Portal in order to be able to receive your time slot for your group’s room selection (based on the type of housing application you submitted). Note that during room selection, groups that do not meet the specific room’s required group size will not be able to select spaces they cannot fully fill (so a group of 3 will not be able to select a 4-person unit). There is time built in to the room selection process to allow for re-matching if there are no longer units available that match your grouping by the time of your first-scheduled time slot. |

March 27 - April 24, 2023
|
Time slots are assigned based on a random ranking by class year (year in residence); averaged between your roommate pair/group. You will receive your time slot one day before the housing type you are trying to select. Anyone in your roommate group can make the housing selection at that time - make sure one of your group is available and has your list of choices. Every 2-3 minutes, another group in the room selection will have access to the list of available rooms. The selection portal will be accessible 5pm-10pm and your time slot will be within those hours on the day of your selection. |

March 29, 2023 Quad/Triple Room Selection |
Room selection for 3-person units (Triples) and 4-person units (Quads/Apartments/Suites) will begin online via the Housing Portal. At your allotted time, you (or any one of your grouped roommates) will have 3 minutes to select a room for your group until the next time slot opens. If you do not have a mutually matched roommate group, you will not be able to select a room even if you are assigned a time slot. Groups that do not meet the required group size will not be able to select spaces they cannot fully fill. Once all slots are filled, if you did not get a unit, you will have time to re-group for Double room selection. |

April 17, 2023 Doubles Room Selections begin |
Room selection 2-person units (Doubles) will begin online via the Housing Portal. At your allotted time, you or your roommate will have 2 minutes to select a room for your pair until the next time slot opens. You must fill the entire room (if you do not have a mutually matched roommate pair, you will not be able to select a room even if you are assigned a time slot). All remaining rooms open are doubles and you can select from available spaces based on your time slot. If there are not any available rooms at your time slot, you will be assigned housing over the summer. You may wait-list for a particular building, but housing assignments will be made based on availability. |

Summer 2023 |
If you are on a wait list, you may be contacted if a room/housing type of your request becomes available to you. Room Assignments are generally finalized by July 1. |
