Public Health
The interdisciplinary minor in Public Health provides students with an introduction to the basic concepts and principles related to the American public health system. Through active engagement in courses, students will complete opportunities and case studies in health behavior, community assessment, epidemiology, and program development related to a broad array of community issues and populations.
Courses in the Public Health minor come from a variety of disciplines. A multidisciplinary approach will provide students with a foundation for thinking more broadly about the nature and constructs related to providing comprehensive public health services in our communities.
