Teachers Talking

Join us on Wednesday, October 14 for Teachers Talking. Relational learning encourages professor—student relationships that go beyond traditional classroom interactions, such as mentoring, one-on-one coaching, or serving as a confidant. Forming such rich relationships is something colleges like Gustavus publicize as a distinctive learning feature. Relational learning, however, is complex and engenders ethical lines that need to be explored. Join your colleagues for a lively conversation sharing our own experiences with forming those relationships with students and where potential trouble spots might lie.Program at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.
