Gustavus aims to fully meet the demonstrated financial need of students. Increasing available scholarships will make the College accessible to talented students of all backgrounds, helping us build a firm foundation for the future. To do this, we need your help.
Designed to attract bright students with the highest need, Heritage Scholarships are a crucial part of these students’ financial aid. With a commitment of $3,000 per year for four years, you can provide a deserving first-year student with a scholarship that will stay with them throughout their entire Gustavus journey.

Scholarship amount: Establish a named Heritage Scholarship with a commitment of $3,000 per year for four years.
Who can give? Heritage Scholarships can be funded by individuals, generations of Gusties from the same family, groups of former classmates and any of our alumni, parents and friends of the College.
Name your scholarship: Just like an endowed scholarship, your Heritage Scholarship will bear your name, a family or group name, or honor a special individual. Your gift of a Heritage Scholarship can help make a Gustavus education possible—right now—for a talented and deserving student.
Funding options: Gifts may be made outright as cash, appreciated stock, or through a multi-year pledge.
Know that your scholarship will support a student in good academic standing for their entire four years at Gustavus. The Gustavus Office of Financial Aid selects scholarship recipients based on student financial need.
