• Incoming students: Calling all incoming first-year students starting in Fall 2024! Get ready for the Signature Experience (SigX). Every student will completed at least one study away, internship, research, or course-based experience that will look great on a resume and prepare you for what comes after Gustavus.
• Current students: The SigX requirement is exclusive to new first-years students. But why not explore these amazing opportunities anyway?

  • Center for International and Cultural Education: Dreaming of global experiences? The Center for International and Cultural Education is your go-to hub for study away opportunities. Unleash your curiosity and explore new horizons!
  • Student-faculty research: Gustavus students enjoy unparalleled access to collaborative research opportunities typically found at the graduate level at much larger institutions.
• Transfer students: All transfers students are encouraged to participate in the SigX experiences, but it will only be a requirement for transfers coming to Gustavus in Fall 2026 or later.
