Guest Parking Permit Information

  1. Visitors wishing to park past 2:00 a.m. or overnight must be registered with Campus Safety, display a valid Guest Parking Permit, and park Visitor parking spaces only. Parking in the Norelius Visitor Lot overnight is restricted to designated Overnight parking spaces only. Please refer to a campus map to familiarize yourself with the campus parking areas.
  2. Visitors must show a valid driver's license and register their vehicle in person in the Campus Safety office with their social host.
  3. Visitor spaces are closed to students and employees 24 hours a day. Guest parking permits are for visitors to Gustavus only. A Visitor parking pass used by a Gustavus student will result in an 'Improper Use of Permit citation' ($100) for both the person parking the vehicle and the person registering as host.
  4. Gold (Employee) parking lots are No Parking 2am-7am, 7 days a week. Silver permit spaces in the Stadium (Beck) parking lot are also No Parking 2am-7am. Please review parking maps to find designated Visitor parking to avoid citation.

Any vehicle parked after 2am in Visitor parking must display a valid visitor permit. Guests in the Norelius Visitor Lot must display a valid visitor permit and be parked in the designated overnight visitor parking spaces (Northeast end of lot, closest to the Guest Houses).
