Your Story:  My nickname is Bree and I grew up in Waupaca, Wisconsin on a farm. Following high school, I attended Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated in 2012 with degrees in Biology and English. While a senior at Gustavus, I applied to Teach For America and was placed into the 2014 Miami-Dade Teach For America Corp.  I taught Biology and AP Environmental Studies for two years in inner city Miami, at Miami Edison Senior High School. Following Teach For America, I applied to the Physician Assistant Program at University of Wisconsin-Madison and was accepted into the program. Currently, I am a student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where I am on the fundraising committee, pursuing a Pathway of Distinction in Rural Health, and running for class President.

Future Plans:  Attending the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Physician Assistant program, start Fall 2015.  Bree  plans to practice medicine in Harrisburg with the National Health Service Corps.
