"My favorite part of the program is the patient interaction. While giving a hand massage may seem like an odd volunteer position, people tend to share their stories and become really open with you - it's a privilege to be able to make something negative a little bit better."

"My favorite part of Caring Hands is the positive impact the program has on patients. The interaction is short, but the experience provides patients with a moment to escape their pain and relax with a gentle hand massage. I always watch their mood lift throughout the massage, and I am always amazed at how such a small gesture can have such a large outcome to the patient."
