Professor in Psychological Science, IRB Co-Chair in Research and Sponsored Programs, and Academic Data Scientist in Provost's Office

Dr. Kyle E. Chambers studies cognitive development, typically focusing on issues related to language learning. Dr. Chambers is also deeply committed to community engagement and worked with the NSF supported National Living Laboratory Initiative to found the first Living Laboratory in Minnesota at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota where children and their caregivers learn about how developmental research is conducted as data is collected. Living Lab provides a unique opportunity for undergraduates to gain valuable research experience while interacting with community members and lay audiences.
