Laura Boomgaarden ’93Alumni and Staff

After graduating from Gustavus with an accounting degree, I worked in the financial services industry in Minneapolis and Eden Prairie.  After our first daughter was born, we decided we wanted to live in a smaller community.  We moved to St. Peter and it is the perfect fit for our family.  It has a small town feel with great schools and Gustavus offers many opportunities to the community.  

My family consists of my husband Mark, and our three daughters.  They are very active participating in extracurricular activities so we spend most of our free time attending their events, watching Wild Hockey or the Minnesota Twins.
