Student OrgsDance Collective of Gustavus

Statement Of Purpose/ Mission
The Dance Collective of Gustavus strives to foster a community where a group of students can dance, learn, and grow in their artistry together, while also creating a safe space for students to explore their passions within the dance community and to support other artists. While continued training in the discipline and art of dance is available through the Theatre and Dance department, no technical experience in any given dance discipline is required to participate in the DCG. We strive to make dance an enjoyable, educational, and accessible experience for everyone regardless of previous dance experience. The DCG strives to support and collaborate with the Theatre and Dance department on campus to provide additional learning opportunities.
