Sohre Hall

• Sohre Hall houses 96 students in single rooms (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors).
• History: Opened in 1961. Pittman Hall and Sohre Hall are mirror images of each other, so rooms are very similar (the primary difference being Pittman is carpeted and Sohre is not).
• Hall amenities: Sohre has a large lounge, kitchen, and study room. 
• Room amenities: Each room is furnished with one bed, bed frame, mattress, desk, and desk chair. Sohre rooms have built-in wardrobes with a sink and vanity. Rooms do not have carpeting. 
• Bed frames: 1st and 2nd floor have wooden ends that can be raised up to 30 inches, bunked, or removed for lofting (all parts must remain in room). 3rd floor has a mixture of wooden and metal (pipe leg) bed frames. 4th floor has all metal (pipe leg) bed frames.
• Lofting requires a rental from Bedloft.com. 

Note: The built-in sink, vanity, and wardrobe wall in is photo is accurate - but for 2024-2025 all rooms in Sohre will be singles so there will be one bed, one desk, and one desk chair. Bed frames will all have wooden ends. Bed linens are not included.
