Students, employees, and alumni are all part of the Gustavus diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) ecosystem. DEIB is owned by everyone at Gustavus. The College is committed to advancing this work through individuals, divisions, departments, centers, student organizations, and programs.   • Bias Response Team

    The Bias Response Team helps to address campus climate concerns and support individuals harmed by bias and hate. Learn more

  • Bonnier Multifaith Center

    The Bonnier Multifaith Center fosters lives of engaged compassion through the cultivation of diverse religious and spiritual practices. Learn more

  • Building Bridges Conference

    A student-led event each March, the Building Bridges Conference educates community members on issues relating to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion through keynote speakers, workshops, and other interactive elements.

  • Campus Activities Board

    The Campus Activities Board enriches the educational, cultural, social, and recreational needs for the entire Gustavus community by planning diverse events, providing students with a connection to campus, and having fun. Learn more

  • Diversity Leadership Council

    The Diversity Leadership Council provides support and is a collective voice of 27 student organizations that all work to promote, preserve, and protect on-campus diversity.

  • The Division for Equity and Inclusion

    A division created in 2021 and led by the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion with a focus on DEIB institutional priorities. The Division consists of the following areas: Academic Support Center (ASC), Center for Inclusive Excellence (CIE), and the Center for International and Cultural Education (CICE).

    The Office of Advancement invites gifts to help the College fulfill its mission through scholarship support for students and financial support for DEIB events, initiatives, and employees.

  • President’s Council on Indigenous Relations (PCIR)

    The President’s Council on Indigenous Relations is a group of faculty, staff and students committed to raising awareness of Indigenous history and culture and building reciprocal relationships with Indigenous partners.
