The campus visit is one of the most important parts of the college search process. After all, how will you know where you want to spend the next four years without seeing the campus and meeting the people? We invite you to experience Gustavus through an individual visit or on one of our group, open-house style visit events. We know scheduling visits can be challenging, so we offer plenty of options:
An individual campus visit is the best way to learn more about Gustavus. You'll sit down for a personal appointment with an admission counselor and get a student-led campus tour. During the summer, we try our best to accommodate requests for appointments with faculty and coaches, but this isn't always possible due to scheduling. Throughout the academic year, you are able to meet with professor, coach, or conductor, and even sit in on a class!
You're invited to one of our visit events—group style visits days that will give you a great preview of our facilities, programs, and people. You'll see a campus that's all about helping you make your life count.
Our office is open for individual visit appointments on about many Saturdays during the academic year. During a Saturday visit, you can meet with an admission counselor to discuss your interests and go on a student-led campus tour.
Whether you live a half-hour away from Gustavus or halfway around the world, an overnight visit in our residence halls can allow you to experience much more of Gustavus life than just a regular daytime visit. Our overnight coordinators will match you with a host who will show you around campus, introduce you to other Gusties, bring you to activities, and allow you to participate in regular campus life (this may include a late-night run to the caf for pizza or ice cream).
We want you to visit Gustavus! It’s the best way to make your college choice. After you walk around and talk to a couple of Gusties, you’ll get the feeling that you belong. This could be your new home. Gustavus is what a college campus should look and feel like. See for yourself.
If you are a high school counselor or teacher who would like to arrange a group visit to Gustavus, please fill out this registration form and an admission representative will contact you directly. Please note that we can only accommodate groups of up to fifty students who are currently in grades 9-12. Group visits are only available Tuesday-Thursday. October, November, and March are typically busy times in the Admission Office, so we prefer to schedule group visits at other times of the year.
