Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar at Gustavus Adolphus College is responsible for maintenance of accurate records of student academic progress, issuance of official transcripts, certification of enrollment, degree awards, schedule of classes into existing facilities and administering college registration policies and procedures. The office assists the academic community in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as privacy rights, academic calendars, testing and grading practices, and recording of academic achievement. It also assists the officers and committees of the institution by providing analyses and reports required for policy formulation.

Students have the right to confidentiality of their records and the right to inspect them. No one, other than Gustavus staff members, is allowed access to these records without the student's prior formal consent.
