Calling all Gusties! Get up to seven of your friends together for a night filled with fun, competition, and prizes. Join CAB to bring back a fan favorite and classic homecoming event: the Gustie Dodgeball Showdown! 

Get to know yourself better through guided meditation! Meditation offers a simple yet powerful way to calm your mind, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve practiced for years, tried it in the past, or are a beginner. Join us in the Bonnier Multifaith Center in Anderson Hall. Chairs and cushions are available. All members of the campus community (and beyond!) are invited to experience the transformative power of mindfulness.

Join us for a homecoming service with a message by Bishop Dee Pederson, followed by free concessions (including hot dogs, nachos, and candy).

Come and celebrate the end of homecoming week by joining us for a concert at Hollingsworth Field! Get into your 80s groove and enjoy some awesome music from the band SM6, empanadas from Del Sur Empanadas food truck, and laser tag, plus an inflatable bungee jump. 

Jason Haaheim ’01 will discuss how he has used the scientific method for his music career, his engineering career, and everything in between. Jason has been the principal timpanist for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 2013. He holds a bachelor of arts degree with a double major in honors-music-performance and physics from Gustavus.

This event will take place Sesquicentennial Plaza Amphitheater on the west side of Christ Chapel. If the weather is unfavorable we will use Christ Chapel as a rain site. Snacks and refreshments will be served.

Whether you’re exploring campus or simply enjoying time together between activities, Family Weekend is a chance to reconnect and experience everyday life as your Gustie does. Join us! 

All students are invited to join CAB for free Insomnia Cookies. Gluten-free and vegan options will be provided. 

Join CAB and UV Glow for a fun-filled night to close out homecoming week! Bring your friends for a Rock'n ' Roll through the 80s dance party. Wear your brightest clothes and grab some of our glow sticks and face paint to funkify the night.
