Summer TermJune 3-28, 2024

Gustavus is offering seven different courses this summer term—so you can achieve your academic objectives and still find time for your other summer activities. Whether on campus or online, you will study alongside other Gustavus students.

Why study at Gustavus in the summer? There are many reasons to enroll:

  1. Benefit from a wide selection of subjects from 6 Gustavus departments
  2. Fulfill your IEX/JAN requirement—Gustavus summer courses count for IEX/JAN and other area requirements the same as in the school year
  3. Catch up on credits, complete a prerequisite, or finish a degree requirement, without having to get approval to transfer the course from another institution
  4. Focus on one course in an intensive academic environment
  5. Build up your subject-matter expertise or explore a new subject for your own enrichment
  6. Hone your professional skillset with a course focusing on research, business, or communication
  7. Enjoy smaller class sizes—or study with a Gustavus professor you’ve heard about
  8. Experience Gustavus at its best: in the summer!
