We are for guys who want to try cross-country skiing, whether for fun or competition. Skiers of all skill levels are welcome to join, improve their abilities, and enjoy Minnesota’s beautiful winter outdoors. Our club values both athletic success and the simple joy of skiing.

We are the spiritual home for Catholic students at Gustavus. We offer chances for prayer, sacraments, learning about faith, and service to help students grow spiritually during college. Major/Minor
Pre-Seminary
Gustavus has a long history of preparing pastors, chaplains, and other Christian clergy and church leaders. You'll major in Religion, Psychology, English, and/or Philosophy on your way to seminary school and/or graduate theology education. Gustavus's chaplains and academic advisors will assist you in choosing coursework, plugging into student groups, and serving in campus leadership positions.

Theatre Performance
As a Gustavus Theatre Performance major/minor, you'll perform, create, and design unique theatrical experiences. You'll gain an understanding of the theatre-making process from different perspectives. You'll work on mainstage productions. And you'll be acting in them, of course, on our multiple stages. You'll also dive into the rich history, literature, and theory of drama and performance.

We come together to talk about important ideas like right and wrong, what it means to exist, how we know things, and what gives life meaning. You don’t need to be a Philosophy major, just someone who’s curious and enjoys thoughtful discussions. Our club is open and welcoming to all students who want to learn and grow through conversation.

Comparative Literature minors explore global texts, cultures, and media across languages (including English). They develop understandings of social, political, cultural, philosophical, and religious functions of literature.
