Students studying pre-physical therapy major in Exercise Physiology and/or Biology on their way to leading rehabilitation treatment programs for sports and other injuries. The growth and importance of data requires qualified people to collect, analyze, summarize, interpret, and effectively use the data. Statistics majors/minors receive in-depth exposure to the theory, application, and tools of statistics to prepare them for a wide range of careers, including analytics and actuarial science. Geography majors/minors draw on natural and social sciences to understand Earth’s environments and how humans respond to and transform them. You'll touch on sustainable land use, migration, globalization, climate change, urbanization, and environmental justice. You can also choose Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an emphasis, gaining map-making skills.

Accounting with Finance
The Accounting with Finance major at Gustavus is a rigourous combination of accounting, business, and finance courses. It provides the academic background necessary for positions in private businesses. (Additional credit hours and specific accounting course credits are necessary to meet the current education requirements to take the CPA exam and to be licensed as a CPA in Minnesota.)
