Admission Counselor in Admission

Originally from Dawson, MN, Christian moved to St. Peter to attend Gustavus Adolphus College where he received a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education - Social Studies. While at Gustavus, Christian participated in Golf, Chapel Choir, Greek Life, Res Life, and the Mentorship Program.

Following graduation, Christian worked as a High School History Teacher at MACCRAY. While at MACCRAY he taught American History 9, World History 11, Current Events, and the World Post 9-11. He also was an assistant wrestling coach, as well as, the head girls and boys golf coach. After a couple years of teaching and coaching it was time for a new adventure in Admissions! You could say he wanted more time on the Hill!

In his spare time you can find Christian on runs, bike rides, rollerblading, shoeshowing, XC skiing, bouldering, or on a camping trip. Some of his favorite trips have been to Colorado or Montana with former Gusties to explore, hike, and relax after a long day with a campfire. While in St. Peter the best places to check out are River Rock Cafe and the Co-op. The coffee and food there will never let you down!
