Julia MacorStaff
Territory: Northeast MN, Washington County, South Hennepin County, and Southwest US
Originally from Mankato, MN, Julia moved to Duluth, MN for college. Julia graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with both her Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership with a double minor in Human Resource Management and Psychology as well as her Master's of Business Administration in Leadership and Change. While in college Julia studied abroad in Ireland, completed an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, MN, and met her husband, Sam!
Following her undergraduate graduation, Julia worked in Human Resources prior to returning to St. Scholastica where she began working as an Admissions Counselor and Student Recruitment Specialist lead. When she began this role, she knew that working in higher education at a Liberal Arts institution was her passion and working with students as they explore and find their college is Julia's favorite part of the job!
In her spare time, Julia loves baking, painting, drawing, watching movies, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her 2 year old Cavapoo dog named Ophelia (Ophie for short)! Some of her favorite tv shows include New Girl, The Golden Girls, and Parks and Recreation, and for music, she loves Taylor Swift, Vance Joy, and Ed Sheeran. Her perfect day in St. Peter would be visiting River Rock Coffee for a chai latte, shopping at Contents and Swedish Kontur (her all time favorite store), and ending the day with a meal at Minnesota Wing King!
