New Academic Building Faculty Laptop Options

When you are scheduled to receive your new laptop, GTS will pick up your current office computer and deliver a loaner laptop (if requested). Your computer will be backed up, your data will be moved to your new laptop and your old hard drive will be removed and stored for twelve months. Your old computer will then become part of GTS inventory. You will keep your current monitor, keyboard, and mouse for the duration of your stay in your old office.

When moving into your new office in the new academic building, you will bring just your laptop - your new keyboard, mouse, and monitor will be waiting for you, unless you had indicated to GTS beforehand that you would like something from your old office moved to the new office, such as a mouse or keyboard.
