Lilja Sigurdadottir - OUT OF SCANDINAVIA: Drag Me to the Dark Side: Queer Identity and the Allure of Crime Fiction
Award-winning Icelandic author Lilia Sigurðardóttir will come to Gustavus as our 2025-26 OUT OF SCANDINAVIA artist in residence the week of March 8 through 12. While Lilja is best known for her crime fiction, which has been translated into 17 languages, her work spans novels, stage plays, screenplays, and audio series. While at Gustavus, Lilja will visit classes, meet informally with students, and give this public lecture.
