There are many wonderful spaces for learning and building community in Anderson Hall. These include video-capture in classrooms, a science and art room, a library, and a simulated elementary classroom. Learn more about Anderson Hall below.

  • Edwards Atrium is an outstanding place for formal and informational gatherings. Student organizations and class groups meet in this large, well-lit space. The Atrium can accommodate up to 70 people for a reception. It has a built-in projector and drop-down screen with easy tech hookups.
  • Art & Science Education Lab is designed to give students the facilities and tools to simulate teaching art and science classes.
  • Model Elementary Classroom is a larger classroom dedicated to elementary teachers. The layout and equipment is designed to help students become comfortable with how to teach in an elementary classroom environment.
  • Curriculum Library on the third floor of Anderson Hall has elements such as books and other media to get you ready for life as a teacher.
  • Computer Lab is used for formal classroom learning and informal studying.
  • Student Teacher Lounge is set up like a typical school district teacher's lounge, including a microwave and refrigerator along with a printer/scanner for those last-minute projects.
  • Bernhardson Education Center includes the Department office, advising help, and faculty offices. Stop by to ask a question, get licensing help, or talk to any of your professors.
  • Study coves around the building provide small and quiet places to do homework.
