The Moe Visiting Lectureship brings influential feminist scholars to Gustavus. This event highlights the interdisciplinary and intersectional values at the heart of the GWSS program, with past lectures spanning fields such as anthropology, literature, science, philosophy, and cultural studies.

We offer a chance to learn about African heritage, current issues affecting African and African American communities, and the rich cultural traditions that connect people of African descent around the world.

We provide volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and awareness campaigns that support local families dealing with childhood cancer while educating the campus community about pediatric cancer issues and research needs.
