As a minor in Russian Language, Literature, and Culture you will explore the language, rich cultural heritage, literature, and history of Russophone lands through the Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Department (MLLC). Public Accounting
The Public Accounting major is designed for students to directly enter the workforce in private companies, non-profits, and government offices. You will learn essential technical accounting skills from a faculty of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) with decades of top industry experience. This program is a Top 20 program in the U.S. for CPA exam success, and the only Minnesota liberal arts college in the top 40. (CPA Success Index).

Pre-Engineering
Future engineers major in Physics, Chemistry, and/or Math, preparing for careers ranging from civil and mechanical engineering to electrical and biomedical engineering. You'll earn a degree in engineering through Gustavus coursework, plus coursework at a school of engineering. (Gustavus has a dual degree program partnership with Washington University in St. Louis).

The growth and importance of data requires qualified people to collect, analyze, summarize, interpret, and effectively use the data. Statistics majors/minors receive in-depth exposure to the theory, application, and tools of statistics to prepare them for a wide range of careers, including analytics and actuarial science. This major is designed for students interested in the intricate workings of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic finance policy. It blends economic theory with finance principles, providing a strong foundation for careers in banking, investment, or financial analysis.
Center for Innovative Entrepreneurial Leadership
We help Gustie students of all academic backgrounds identify ideas, projects, and processes that could be converted into value-creating enterprises. Through opportunities such as the Gustie Tank and the Seed Money grants, students conduct small scale experiments and collect feedback on their ideas. Students can also enter the Gustie Entrepreneur Cup, and form connections with our extensive network of alumni.
