Eastern European Club ClubThe Official Club of the Russian & Eastern European Studies Department
Welcome to The Eastern European Club!
The Eastern European Club is designed for anyone who participates in the Russian & Eastern European Studies curriculum, anyone with an interest in the program, or enthusiasts who want to expand their knowledge of Eastern Europe in general, such as culture, music, film, food, etc.
This club is open for anyone to join, with no prior knowledge of the Russian language required (but you are always welcome to try and use the phrases you may know, or even learn a few to use!). We have events in-person every month, as well as events celebrating various holidays.
If interested, feel free to contact either Annalise Rivas [annaliserivas@gustavus.edu], or the Club Co-Presidents Cristina Sirbu [csirbu@gustavus.edu] & Dasha Shyroka [dashashyroka@gustavus.edu] and we will add you to the mailing list.

Traditional Tea is a monthly event where all East European Club members gather around and talk around with other members all things Slavic or even how things are going. With tea poured from the traditional samovar as a beautiful piece to complement the event, it's a great time to catch up with friends in the club or even relax after a hard day of classes!
