Video Production Steps

1. Complete the Video Request Form.

· This will prompt a meeting.

2. Meeting, concept, and idea development.

· We will go over ideas and concepts.

· Who or what is the subject?

· What is the story, problem, or promotion?

· Storyboards and shot lists.

· Location ideas.

· Who is on camera?

· Schedule shoot dates and a contingency dates.

3. Production, day of the video shoot.

· Set-up. (Can take up to an hour, usually less.)

· Get shots on the shot list or storyboard.

· Get audio, voiceover, interview, etc.

· Wrap up.

4. Post Production.

· Editing the video.

· Editing the audio, adding music, sound design.

· Motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, logos, etc.

5. Delivery and distribution.

· First draft delivered.

· Make necessary changes.

· Final draft delivered and distributed.

Submit a Project

The Office of Marketing and Communication does video and photography work on and off campus in support of the College's mission and goals.

Note: This is a request. Acceptance of the project will be determined based on time, budget, and the College's mission and strategic goals.
