Projects production steps

1: Complete project request form: • Marketing team will use this to determine the acceptance of the project based on time, budget, and the College’s mission and strategic goals
2: Preliminary meeting, concepts, cost estimates: • Meet with the marketing teams

• Inspiration documents
3: Client provides content for project: • Content added to the Workfront project

• Complete copy in a Word document format

• Images (EPS, JPG, PNG)

• Writing/Editing or Photography expertise is available upon request; additional time may be required and additional fees may be incurred
4: Design concept and first proof: • Marketing partner will share the first proof or design concept

• Feedback from client

• Edits necessary for next proof
5: Proofing process: • Two to three more proofs edited and reviewed

• Final approval from Client

• At this time the client fills out the Mailroom Job Form with information if it is a mailed piece.
6: Project processed for final production: • Marketing sends pieces to printer it it is a printed project
7: Project is delivered: • Print projects delivered to client or mailroom (Mailing is your responsibility; Contact Mail Services in advance with questions)

• All final pieces linked in the Workfront project for you to access at anytime

Welcome to the Marketing Project Request Form. To access it you will need to log in to the program Workfront. If you do not have the log-in information, please e-mail marketing@gustavus.edu. You will then receive a username and password from us.

Note: This is a request. Acceptance of the project will be determined based on time, budget, and the College’s mission and strategic goals.

Is not linked to our Gustavus single sign on. Choose a password you will remember. If you forget your password email marketing@gustavus.edu.

Request

Click on the nine squares on the right in the top bar next to the search icon. Choose REQUEST, choose NEW on the left side and select the request type . This will bring you to the request form, answer the questions and submit the project. When you submit the request you will receive an email that lets you know “your request was submitted.” The project will be processed and you will receive an email with the schedule. The marketing team will also receive this schedule and determine the acceptance of the project based on time, budget, and the College's mission and strategic goals. The marketing team will then contact you to discuss your project in further detail.

To upload Word documents, JPGS, EPS, PNG, or to view project updates, log into Workfront anytime.
