Study Away InternsCenter for International and Cultural Education
Study Away Interns (SIs) are the first stop on most students' study away journey! SIs are returnee study away students who use their own study away experience to advise their fellow students interested in study away by acquainting them with their options and the application system. SIs also help the CICE promote and manage study away programs and intercultural experiences in five focus areas:
- Graphic Design
- Social Media
- Video Production
- Event Planning & Coordination
- Learning Content & Returnee Engagement.
SIs will gain broadly applicable and marketable experience with advising, project management, event planning, marketing and outreach, and giving presentations. This internship is also an excellent opportunity for students who seek a deeper understanding of the field of international education. In fact, several former Gustavus SIs work in the international education field for universities or education abroad providers.
If you are interested in becoming a Study Away Intern, please contact the SI coordinator for more information.
