Interested in learning more about the work behind study away and international student services?
Student workers are the first point of contact at the CICE. They respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries; directing students, faculty, staff, and visitors to resources for study away and international student services. Other job highlights include:
- scheduling appointments and processing application materials
- becoming familiar with the wide array of study away programs
- learning the StudioAbroad database and running reports
- assisting with insurance cards and visa applications
- long-term projects such as: designing promotional materials, developing presentations, managing social media, assisting with intercultural events, conducting data collection, refining organizational systems, and more...
Student workers in the CICE must have good computer skills and experience working on databases, as well as a willingness to be pro-active and autonomous in work duties.
