WORD Play festival - A Literary Gathering of Gusties and Their Friends and Reunion Classes Various Locations

Thursday, May 26

3 p.m.: In Melva Lind Center of the Linnaeus Arboretum there will be poems and short stories by the English department professors Becky Fremo, Baker Lawley, and Joyce Sutphen, Minnesota Poet Laureate.

(Dinner is available on campus or in Saint Peter)

7 p.m.: At the home of Elsa Cornell (1312 Pine Point Curve, Saint Peter), Phil Bryant (English department) His Own Show Dessert Reception

Friday, May 27

10 a.m.: In the St. Peter Banquet Room, Jackson Campus Center, John Rezmerski will read his newly published Cataloging the Flow, a poem that will take us on the Minnesota River

11 a.m.: In the St. Peter Banquet Room, Lawrence Owen will read poems that will stimulate talk about what a person means when he/she says, "I'm not religious, but I'm spiritual. e/span>

(Lunch " wherever you wish)

1 p.m.: In the St. Peter Banquet Room,Open Mic " (10 minutes) read your own work or a piece that has influenced you, or made a difference in your life.

6 p.m.: Buffet Dinner at Dave Solheim's and Barbara Laman's home (711 Edgerton Street, Saint Peter)
