Coaching Cross Country and Distance Running
Brenden Huber begins his fourth season with the Gustavus men's and women's cross country team as an assistant coach and with the men's and women's track and field team as an assistant coach working with long distance runners. Huber has also served as an assistant track and field coach at Gustavus for distance runners.
The Huron, S.D. native earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Dakota in 2005 where he was a cross country and distance runner for the Coyotes. While at USD, Huber was a member of the 2004 cross country squad that finished 11th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships. He also served as the president of the USD Student-Athlete Advisory Council and was an Academic All-America honoree in 2005.
Currently, Huber is pursuing his master's degree in sport psychology from MSU, Mankato.
