Student Senate
The Gustavus Student Senate works hard each week to hear and address concerns from our fellow students. Our goal is to provide a gateway for communication between students and the administration and to promote an active and vibrant campus. Our representatives bring different perspectives on the best ways to collaborate with faculty and solve current student issues.
Senate is responsible for funding many student organizations on campus along with supporting and developing initiatives that improve the Gustavus experience.
Student Organization
Campus Democrats
We are students passionate about Democratic values and progressive change. We work to get out the vote, educate our campus about important issues, and build an inclusive environment. Join us in working toward the progress our communities need.
Student Organization
Political Science Club
Enjoy civic participation. We explore political theory, analyze current events, and engage in civics. Our goal is to deepen our understanding of democratic processes and governance. We welcome students from all perspectives (though you must commit to respectful dialogue).
Vocal - Music
At Gustavus, every student who wishes to sing in a choir has the opportunity. No student is turned away, regardless of their skills or experience. Most students (85 percent) who sing in a choir at Gustavus are not music majors. Choir students represent a variety of academic majors and life interests but share a common passion for choral singing and making music together in community. Whether you are motivated by the desire to travel the world, express yourself through singing, or simply get involved in something outside your major, choir is for you.
Major/Minor
