Students interested in dentistry and oral health major in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. You'll gain an excellent scientific foundation with the flexibility to delve into diverse electives. Here, your career as a dentist, orthodontist, and oral surgeon begins with strong academics and a vibrant on-campus community. And the Office of Health Professions provides helps you navigate prerequisite courses and dental school applications.

The Wind Studies program at Gustavus is a dynamic and creative program centered on the core ideals of the liberal arts. The Wind Studies program features a wide variety of ensembles with varying levels of time commitment and styles of repertoire. Our two large ensembles are the storied Gustavus Wind Orchestra, a flexible wind ensemble, and the Gustavus Wind Symphony, a traditional large symphonic wind ensemble.

We are trained student mentors who help Gustavus students with academic challenges, study skills, and adjusting to college life. Our program builds supportive friendships that help students succeed and also helps mentors develop leadership and mentoring skills.

We train student-athletes to become peer educators on topics like alcohol and drug prevention, healthy relationships, mental health awareness, and academic success. Our program empowers student-athletes to be positive role models and contribute to campus wellness.

We work to create positive environmental change. We do this through education, advocacy, and action. Every Gustie has the power to make a difference for our planet. We provide the knowledge, tools, and community support for you to be a big part of change.

Living on campus is at the heart of the Gustavus experience—close community, vibrant events, and a variety of dorms and apartments make campus feel like home from day one to graduation.

Love video games, esports, or gaming culture? We’re a welcoming community for all kinds of gamers. Our club offers a place to connect with others, compete, and celebrate gaming together. It doesn’t matter if you play competitively, casually, or are interested in game development.

We’re a student group that encourages sustainable living through clothing swaps, thrift shopping, and learning about how our buying choices affect the environment. We focus on protecting the planet while promoting fun, affordable fashion in a community-focused way.

We support students who want to become genetic counselors. We provide information about graduate programs, what the job requires, and updates in genetics and genomics. Our club connects students with current professionals and helps prepare them for this specialized healthcare career.

KGSM Radio gives students the chance to get hands-on experience with radio broadcasting, audio production, and media communication. Whether students are into music, news, sports, or talk shows, our station lets them be creative while learning valuable media skills.

We are the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. It recognizes students who excel in Spanish language study and encourages continued learning about Hispanic cultures. Our chapter gives advanced Spanish students a chance to celebrate their achievements and deepen their understanding of Hispanic heritage.
