Women's Lacrosse

We’re a team that gives students the chance to build their skills in a fast-paced sport while competing for Gustavus. We welcome players of all experience levels and focus on both improving as athletes and building strong team friendships.

We offer students a chance to explore yoga, meditation, and mindfulness while building a supportive community focused on both physical and mental health. We welcome people of all experience levels and highlight the many benefits of practicing yoga.

Student Outcomes at Gustavus

Nearly 90 percent of Gustavus graduates are employed, in grad school, or volunteering within nine months; all will participate in an internship, research, a community project, or a study away. Our students come out ready to do good work in the world.

Ancient Greek Studies

Ancient Greek Studies majors delve deep into the study of Classics through the literature, history, and culture of ancient Greece. They study key works in the original languages. More on the major, including sample courses, here.

Financial Economics

This major is designed for students interested in the intricate workings of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic finance policy. It blends economic theory with finance principles, providing a strong foundation for careers in banking, investment, or financial analysis.

Master of Athletic Training

The master of athletic training program provides two routes for application and entrance to the graduate program. A 4+2 year for those who have finished a baccalaureate degree and an accelerated 3+2 year program for Gustavus students.

Film and Media Studies

Film and Media Studies is an interdisciplinary minor that explores the historical, political, social, economic, and cultural impact of film and media. It complements any major and helps prepare you for a career in film, marketing, social media, and journalism.

Health and Exercise Science

Through the Gustavus Health and Exercise Science Department, students study human health, fitness, and wellness with hands-on labs, internships, and research to prepare for careers in health fields. Home to Exercise Physiology and Health and Physical Education majors/minors.

Studio Art majors/minors create a studio practice (painting, drawing, photography, pottery, digital art, and more), exploring art in ways that are conceptually rigorous, inventive, and open to contemporary questions inside and outside the arts. Sample courses and more here.

Biology majors/minors investigate living systems' structures, functions, and responses, from organisms to populations and ecosystems. You will have lab experiences and abundant research opportunities, and sharpen your scientific reasoning. Sample courses and career paths here, including medicine.
