I'm proud to have served as Director in the Academic Support Center (ASC) since 2017. Our staff helps empower Gustavus students to thrive academically. We do this by supporting our faculty-based academic advising program, providing resources for academic skill development, and providing academic accessibility resources to ensure that all Gusties have equal access to their education. Here in the ASC, I provide leadership for the center and our staff, partner with campus colleagues to plan and execute new student registration (including our Gustie Gear-Up! event), and promote college-wide academic support and retention efforts. Prior to my work here in the ASC, I served Gustavus as Senior Associate Dean of Admission and other roles in the Admission Office for 15 years. I recruited students from across the country, led the College's transfer and PSEO admission programs, and enjoyed being an active member of the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
