Accessible Technology & Program Coordinator in Academic Support Center

I am extremely happy to serve as the Accessible Technology & Program Coordinator in the Academic Support Center (ASC) since it’s recreation and move to Anderson Hall in January of 2017. My role in the ASC is multi-faceted and includes adaptive technology sourcing and instruction for students with disabilities, intake of short-term disabilities, and alternative testing in the ASC. Additionally, I manage the center’s outreach and programs, most notably Gustie Gear-Up! and New Student Registration, as well as supervise our front office reception and Peer Academic Coaches (PACs).

I began my career at Gustavus in 2010 in Lund Center and am proud to stay in touch with the students and staff there by continuing my role there on a limited basis. I spent five years in Student Life as the Outreach Coordinator in Peer Education and Chemical Health (also The Wellbeing Center), and three creative semesters in the Department of Music before I found a home in the ASC where I’m fortunate to work with an amazing team and am able to help students on a daily basis.

I make my home in St. Peter with my husband Corey and our dogs Bruno and Riley. We have three daughters, Ella (Buena Vista University ’20, MA '21), Sienna (Gustavus ’22) and Josie (Hamline University ’26). You will find Corey and I spending time with our family–and currently taking in a lot of Gustie and Piper basketball. In my free time I love to run and work out with my fitness friends, read, listen to music, and remain active in my faith community.
