Hello!

2025 has been full of new beginnings. My 2024 presentation in Lisbon at the Space Oddity: On Spatial Narratives conference, held at the University Católica Portuguesa's Research Center for Communication and Culture (CECC), turned into a new special topics course. In Drawing, Design, and Neuroaesthetics, students are researching the burgeoning field of neuroaesthetics. It is the central intersection where science, technology, and art meet. Given that human beings spend 80% or more of our time indoors, new questions are being raised to better understand, imagine, and create interior spaces that can promote innovation, and growth. We are working to build experimental models around the multiple facets of space, from architectural environments to better understanding and tapping into our own innate and culturally developed default mode networks.

A solo exhibtion, Ballad of the Blue Heron, at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum was well recieved. I found a new community of awe-inpspiring people to be grateful for!
