New Student OrientationAugust 29 - September 1, 2025

Welcome!

We are looking forward to your arrival on campus! The Gustavus Orientation program for first-year students is August 29-September 1st. On Friday, August 29th, first-year students will have an opportunity to move to campus, connect with their Orientation Group, meet their floor-mates, and participate in a day of events. The Gustavus New Student Orientation program is focused on helping you with the transition to Gustavus and establishing a sense of belonging in this community.

As soon as you arrive on campus, you will experience the unmatched enthusiasm of the "Gustie Greeter" student orientation staff. They will welcome you at the entrances and be available across campus to assist with directions or any questions you may have throughout those first four days. They will also be facilitating your Orientation Group which is designed to help you connect more closely with other new students and a faculty member during Orientation and into the academic year. These small groups are great opportunities to discuss what you are looking forward to as well as any concerns you may have.
