Campaign Letterhead and Logos... On September 27, 2019 we kicked off our Show the World comprehensive campaign for the College. In recognition of this campaign, we’ve developed a special word mark (logo) to be used through October of 2021. That means the College website, letterhead, and print materials will reflect this logo. We need your help to transition to the campaign materials.

So, please put away the usual Gustavus letterhead and envelopes for the next 22 months. Stop by Printing Services for a supply of the new letterhead and envelopes and start using it January 1, 2020. The Show the World campaign images are also available to the campus online (must be signed in to your Gustavus account to access).

If you have questions on the use of these materials, please consult with the Office of Marketing and Communication.

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Lecture... The annual lecture at Gustavus will be on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 10-11:30 a.m. in Christ Chapel. This year’s lecture, provided by the Donzaleigh Abernathy, will feature her personal reflections on watching the civil rights movement unfold and the ongoing work for justice. Donzaleigh Abernathy is the youngest daughter of the American Civil Rights Movement co-founder Rev. Dr. Ralph Abernathy. She was born in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement as her father and his best friend, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. established the nonviolent social movement which changed the course of American History.

End of year donations...As we approach the end of the calendar year, if your office receives any checks from donors, please send them to Gustavus Advancement before you leave for holiday break. If your office receives any checks upon your return in January that were dated in 2019, please be sure to bring them to Advancement Services by January 3.
If you should get an inquiry from a donor wanting to give a gift to Gustavus before calendar year-end, you can direct them two different ways: 1) Direct them to the giving website (gustavus.edu/give) to process their credit card gift online by Dec. 31, or 2) Mail a check to Gustavus Advancement, postmarked by Dec 31. Thank you.

Saint Peter Weekly Newsletter...As we continue to find ways to strengthen our partnership with the City of Saint Peter we would like to share this link to their weekly newsletter. Be sure to read it for the latest information about the greater Saint Peter community.
