This fall, help us celebrate summer research projects, internships, and study away experiences at the Fall SigX Showcase! Students interested in participating can register for the event through this form. Please consider presenting your summer research, internship, or previous study away experiences — Gustavus community members are interested in the work you accomplished this summer and the places you traveled. If you aren't presenting, you can attend to learn more about the projects and travel experiences and to support your fellow Gusties.

Greek, Latin and Classical Studies Lecture on Rivers in Myth

Since 2023, the Department of Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies has organized a lecture on the theme of the year's Nobel Conference in the week following the conference. Dr. Georgia Irby of William and Mary College, an expert on rivers in Greco-Roman antiquity, delivers this year's lecture, "Ancient Rivers: Anthropomorphized, Rationalized, Politicized."

Storytelling and Sensemaking Symposium

Gustavus Adolphus College was founded in 1862 during the same months as the Dakota-U.S. War, which resulted in the removal of Dakota people from their homeland. A student-faculty research team have been reexamining the college's settler history and its relationship with Dakota people.

Commencement 2027

Celebrate the class of 2027 at their Commencement Ceremony in the Lund Center Arena.

Each graduate will receive five (5) guest tickets for Lund Arena. 
Unlimited overflow seating is available in Lund Forum (basketball). No ticket is needed for overflow seating.
