Post a Volunteer Opportunity

Community-Based Service and Learning

Community-based organizations are encouraged and welcomed to recruit Gustavus volunteers in ways that serve their particular needs and interests while simultaneously providing meaningful, positive, and safe volunteer experiences for members of the Gustavus campus community.

Opportunities may be diverse and varied, from providing supplemental babysitting services at Positive Parenting classes to helping elderly residents with seasonal yard work to judging Destination Imagination projects and Science Fairs. You may recruit individual students, groups of students, Greek life, residential halls, student organizations, staff and faculty.

Get Connected

In order to best accommodate the diverse needs of our local and regional communities, and the equally diverse interests of our campus constituents, we support volunteer postings both internally through campus updates, as well as externally through the United Way’s web-based Get Connected portal. We encourage community organizations to consider posting in the manner they feel will be most beneficial per their particular need or interest. You may post in one or both!
