Campus Activities Board
Want to help shape life on campus? Join the Campus Activities Board, which plans and produces social, cultural and educational events that keep The Hill buzzing. From concerts and comedy shows, Homecoming to movie nights, you’ll gain resume-ready skills in event planning, budget management, and vendor relations.
Greek Life
A force for good on campus since 1904, the Gustavus Greek community supports members to develop leadership skills, grow social and professional networks, and build lifelong relationships. The Inter-Greek Council serves as a source of unity and structure for seven sororities and fraternities on The Hill.
Gustavus Recreation Program
Whether you’re an indoor cat or an outdoor adventurer, this eclectic program is the place to explore, expand, and grow. From canoe and hiking trips to pizza and game nights, there’s something to suit every interest. You’ll find gear loans—and a group to go with—on both local outings and alternative break adventures around the country.
Community Engagement and Service
Wherever there’s a need, Gusties are pitching in. Join forces with hundreds of volunteers who serve people in need in St. Peter and surrounding communities. You can work with elders, mentor young people, build affordable housing, support people with disabilities—and help lead the Gustavus outreach programs that propel these efforts.
Gustie Greeters
Love this place? Show incoming students why as a Gustie Greeter. These junior and senior student leaders welcome fresh arrivals to campus by planning, organizing, and leading the four-day New Student Orientation program. You’ll head up activities, help new Gusties get their bearings, and serve as a trusted sounding board throughout the year.
