Recreation Committee

The Recreation Committee is responsible for planning and fascilitating the Gustie Cup Tournament as well as arranging and coordinating trips to recreational activities and professional sporting events in the Twin Cities.

The Gustie Cup Tournament is a third-year initiative sponsored entirely by Campus Activities Board. The Gustie Cup is a year-long team athletic competition open to all students and/or organizations. Past events have included tournaments of these sports: Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Broomball, Dodgeball, Softball and Ultimate Frisbee. Teams will have the chance to win prizes totaling up to $1000.

Whenever students aren't competeing in their own tournaments, this committee likes to plan trips to the Twin Cities to see our favorite Minnesota sports teams play, including the Twins, Wild, and Vikings.

If you would like to join this committee or have any suggestions to help CAB improve this portion of your on/off campus entertainment pleas e-mail Cody Christensen.
