Sneak a PeakTeam Building Activity

Materials:

  • Picture colored in with different types of coloring utensils/colors
  • Blank picture
  • Coloring utensils (crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.) that match the above picture plus extras
  • Processing questions

Group’s Objective:

  • Exactly replicate the colored picture

Facilitation:

  1. Tell the participants to sit around the blank coloring sheet and coloring utensils and number off.
  2. Tell the group they will be coloring the picture, but must color it exactly as it is done in a hidden example.
  3. Choose 2-3 people to color
  4. Everyone else will take turns going to the picture and observing for 30 seconds.
    • They will then need to report back to the people coloring and the next person will observe.
      • The describer will only have until the next person returns to describe the picture.
    • Example: Person 1 observes for 30 seconds, once they start describing, person 2 goes to observe, once person 2 comes back, person 1 goes to the end of the observing line, etc.
